Living With Apple

I am not an “Apple Fanboy” but I’ve learned to live with the Apple products that I come into contact with. In a perfect world I could use Linux all day everyday, since this is not the case. I will be adding the tips that help me get Apple products to do what I want, albiet with some kicking and screaming(either from me or the device).

Open Current Finder Folder In Terminal

Unfortunately this is not setup by default as in better Operating Systems but is surprisingly simple to add (in Mavericks and newer).

Head into System Preferences and select Keyboard > Shortcuts > Services. Find “New Terminal at Folder” in the settings and click the box. Now, when you’re in Finder, just right-click a folder and you’re shown the open to open Terminal.
